Honorary Life Memberships awarded to Mort Hudson and Ian McCauley

Mort Hudson and Ian McCauley, both founding members of the Bonsmara
Cattle Breeders Association Inc were recently awarded the first
Honorary Life Memberships of the Association.
Ian McCauley was the Chairman of the Association since the
Association’s inception, from 1998 through to 2006 and owns the Valinor
Bonsmara stud, which also incorporates Belmonts and Senepols.

Mort has been the Treasurer and Secretary during this period and comes
from the renowned Tremere Pastoral Company which was also instrumental
in the first imports of Boran and Tuli embryos.

Ian and Mort were instrumental in the first imports of Bonsmara embryos
into the country, and have been the driving force behind the breed
since the first imports.
The Association is indebted for Ian and Mort’s untiring efforts over
the past 8 years and we look forward to their continued input to the
Association.
